Florian brings to Concept a wealth of experience and a wide range of skills covering areas such as economic regulation, investment decision-making, financial modelling and asset management. During his 25+ years in various roles within the utility sector in New Zealand and the oil and gas industry here and overseas, he has developed an array of multi-disciplinary and transferable skills that enable Florian to apply himself to a range of economic and commercial environments.
Most recently, Florian has held roles in Chorus and Transpower, developing regulatory price-quality proposals and helping these lifeline utilities thrive under their forms of economic regulation, including leading business improvement initiatives to embed necessary capabilities in these businesses. In these roles, Florian was not only drawing from his time spent with the Commerce Commission, but also from his experience in the complex and challenging oil and gas industry, where he learned some of the skills he has maintained and further developed throughout his later career. |
