Yvonne is an applied economist who integrates economic assessment with scientific insights to inform policy and decision-making. Her work focuses on key sustainability challenges, including greenhouse gas emissions, freshwater management, land use, air quality, and natural hazards.
With extensive experience in economic assessment, decision modelling, and econometrics, Yvonne has worked across regional and central government, CRIs, academia, and the energy sector. Prior to joining Concept, she played a key role in modelling for New Zealand’s Second Emissions Reduction Plan. Yvonne holds a PhD in Economics, complemented by qualifications in Computer Science and Public Policy. She has published in leading journals and delivered impactful reports for a diverse range of clients. |
