Hugh has strong technical, commercial and project management experience gained over more than 25 years in a range of roles in the gas and energy industry in New Zealand and overseas. 

Hugh has an in-depth knowledge of hydrocarbon gas and liquid pipeline operation and management and LPG storage and
handling, including associated risk management and environmental issues. Prior to resuming consulting in 2009, he was Transmission Asset Manager at NGC (now Vector Gas) for 6 years where his responsibilities included leading technical
strategic planning and growth development of the high-pressure gas transmission system. He has been involved in a number of large-scale gas transmission projects and multi-million dollar LPG business divestment projects.
